MR LATIN APPOINTS EX-NUJ SCRIBE AS MEDIA DIRECTOR

The popular Yoruba Movie Actor,Bolaji Amusan popularly known as Mr Latin has appointed a veteran journalist, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji as Director of Communication and Media Affairs.

The appointment as contained in the letter signed by Bolaji Amusan,the Executive Director of Mr Latin’s foundation said the appointment was based on the journalist unprecedented achievements in the journalism profession,as well as his humanitarian and philanthropic gestures in solving various human problems among others.

The letter added that, the Director of Communication and Media Affairs would be overseeing the media activities of the Non-Governmental Organisation,both within and outside the country.

The foundation Media Director is a former South-West,Zonal Secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists,NUJ,a member of executive of Central Working Committee,CWC,highest ruling body of the union. His journalism experience is over two decades.

He has won many awards in the field of journalism and was the first journalist to be hosted personally by the former President of Nigeria,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,who sponsored his(Dimeji’s) birthday.

When contacted,the foundation Director of Communication and Media Affairs, said the appointment was a welcome development,adding that,he would contribute his quota to the development of the foundation.

He added further that,as a Non-Governmental Organisation,his role was to participate actively and considered his appointment as his own free contribution to the developmental growth of the beneficiaries and the foundation.

‘As a Non-Governmental Organisation, I know I am not there for any salary,but my passion for the interest of the welfare of the less priviledged,and the foundation genuine efforts to address number of social vices,particularly among the youths, is my motivating factor to be part of the system. I also appreciate the Executive Director of the foundation for considering for the appointment’,Kayode-Adedeji said
