PublicFaces Magazine publisher in company of the team paid a courtesy call to the founder and member of the first women radio station in Nigeria, Mrs Toun Okewale Sonaiya.
PublicFaces magazine Is the most circulated societal reporting magazine in Ogun state, the convener of International Women’s Day 2017 which the founder of WFM 91.7 was the guest speaker.
PublicFaces hosted the globally celebrated event at Park Inn by Radisson Abeokuta to recognize and celebrate the social, political and economic power of women. As the 2017 theme posits “Bebold for Change” five lioness of positive change were drawn to grace the front cover of the prestigious magazine i.e Chief Mrs Asabi Adesina (The Yeyemesho of Ilaro Yewa Land), Mrs Abidemi Adeyemi (President, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Mothers Club), Adebola Ayedun Solate (Publisher, PublicFaces Magazine and Team Leader at M19 Events and Ushering Agency) , Hon. Adijat Adeleye Oladapo (A former two term Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Currently one of the Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representative, Nigeria) and Mrs Toun Okewale Sonaiya (CEO wfm91.7, Nigeria’s only Radio Station for Women and their families).
She was considered as one of the lionesses of change by the editorial board as a result of her unwavering stand for women’s growth, no wonder WFM91.7 is unapologetic for women and their families.
The same day of the visit, the young publisher was also a guest on the Political arena on WFM 91.7 to discuss the Young to run bill alongside Jude Feranmi (National Youth Leader, KOWA Party), Hon. Temitope Adewale (SA to APC Party National Leader on Youths Politics&Policy), the vibrant program was hosted by Mrs Toun Okewale Sonaiya herself with Melony Ishola.
The courtesy call according to the publisher of PublicFaces Magazine, convener of International Women’s Day 2017, she said “It will further strengthen the media relationship between PublicFaces Magazine and WFM91.7.
