About five years after she pulled out of the Ogun State Civil Service, Princess Iyabo Orebowale Yusuff is set to be celebrated at an event tagged The Doyen Magazine’s VIP GIG for her impressive performance in the Civil Service, particularly her achievements during her short stint as the Head of the Ogun State Civil Service.
According to a release signed by the publisher of the magazine, Desmond Nwachukwu, the event which  is an acknowledgement of excellence, dedication to duty, patriotism and sacrificial contributions to humanity, will take place in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on the 13th of November, 2016.
The decision to celebrate her was reached after our team of researchers x-tray her sojourn in the Service and interacted with people across the state including Serving and Retired Civil /Public Servants, Community Leaders, former/serving members of the State Executive Council and Royal Fathers. Their findings are to say the least, heartwarming. One fact that bears eloquent testimony to Princess Yusuff’s exemplary life style is the decision of a former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel to reshedule his trip abroad in her honour her.
It seem to be African to wait for our heroes and heroines to die before appreciating them for their roles in making our society a better place but as an organisation we are of the firm belief that in a society where majority of those seeking or holding public offices are driven by selfish interest, the few  leaders who are passionate about the positive turn around of the fortunes of a greater number of the citizens through the philosophy of others before self, should be celebrated while they live. This in our opinion will serve as a motivating factor to such people and possibly challenge those on the other side of the divide to thread the path of honour.
Dignitaries expected at the event include former Ogun State Governor,Otunba Gbenga Daniel, a former Deputy Governor of Ogun State and member of the seventh Senate, Gbenga Kaka, the Honouree’s husband, Chief Adetokumbo Fassy Yusuff, a Prince of Remo Kingdom, Prince Babatunde Victor Ajayi, the Ogun State  Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arc Olamilekan Adegbite, as well as other members of the State Executive Council, and the Chairman of Remo Traditional Council, HRH,Oba Adewale Osiberu, the Elepe of Epe and other respected monarchs.
