How Police Rescued Wife Of Ogun Lawmaker



The kidnapped wife of Hon. Adejuwon Oyenuga, representing Ijebu East state constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, has been rescued.

PublicFaces Magazine can authoritatively inform you that Felicia Oyenuga, who was abducted earlier this morning in Ijebu-Ife, was released by the suspected kidnappers due to pressure from various quarters.

‎In our previous report on her abduction, we told you that one of the suspected kidnappers that was taken to Ijebu Ode Area Command had described the den of the culprits which has since caused unrest in their camp.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the release of the lawmaker’s wife.‎

He also disclosed that three of the suspects have been arrested by the police and were undergoing interrogation.

Adejobi said “One of them that was nabbed earlier, he happens to be their leader, and this apparently caused unrest in their camp. The rest of them later dropped the abducted woman in town.

The police spokesman revealed further that “while we got the information of her whereabouts, we were able to arrest two of them in the process. Presently, we have three of them in our custody going through interrogation.”‎

Mrs Oyenuga is back with her family safe and sound.
