Be prepared to learn, re-learn – Abeokuta Business Hangout organisers urge attendees

In a recent press conference  with news men, the organisers of Abeokuta Business Summit have urged attendees to be prepared for the second edition of Abeokuta Business Hangout which is scheduled for 24th of August 2019 at Basic Trust International Hall, beside, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

According to  Olatunji Gbesan who doubles as the team lead and also one of the panelists, the hangout which was born out of a need for business owners to have an informal environment to connect, learn and un-learn just as seen in other cities across the country and also to create a platform that will not only bring everyone together, but also provide a learning environment where business owners and entrepreneurs  can learn new things and better ways to improve their business.

Speaking on first edition of the hangout, Gbesan maintained that Abeokuta Business Hangout 1.0 was a pilot test.

In His words, “We prepared for 50 attendees but we had well over 50. It was an unusual atmosphere of learning. In our build up to the event, we had chosen a theme that will debunk the narrative that businesses in Abeokuta were not thriving. Our guest speaker did well to show the attendees how he built his business over the years. He backed up his presentation with figures his business is churning out. Feedback gotten from the event and subsequent follow up shows that people learnt a lot and are putting it into practice”

Meanwhile recently, LevBiz Integrated Company who are the organisers of the event unveiled a 7-Man panelists for the second edition. Among the panelists are; Ishola Adebayo (CEO Online Hub and renowned Google digital trainer), Olatunji Gbesan ( Business Builder and Analyst), Micheal Jacob ( Journalist cum Life Coach and Mind Therapist),  Bola Solate ( Multi-Award Winning Publisher), Ayoola Olaniyi ( Team Lead Ogun Tech Summit), Dokun Aroyeun ( Convener Project Iesprit), Kayode Adebiyi ( Business Analyst and Project developer).

Speaking on choice of speakers, the organisers revealed that speakers and panelists were chosen based on proven records and capacity.  “We would have loved to bring some of the big names outside Ogun state, but we always love to have speakers and panelists who understand the terrain and who our attendees can relate with.” They added.
